Things are creepy because they are either foreign or scary to us.

So, for example, a stranger following you down an empty street at night is creepy because we aren't acquainted with him and he might have an unattractive exterior.

That's a damn good definition. The things we can't understand are the things that scare us the most.

I rarely get creeped out by things, and when I do its mostly because I twist it more than it already is.

I like him. He makes some good points and makes me think. He's awesome. I would love to see more videos by him.

I like the video, the answer to the question is that ingrained into our mind is that we will and are scared of everything and anything we don't know and or understand.

:cry:As an adult I am still afraid of things. I know its not real but its the thought of it being real and it might touch or chase me. Watching scary movies like Chucky, Boogey Man, Candy Man creep me out. I was scared to do things and go in dark places.
I find spiders creepy, especially big hairy ones like tarantulas. My fear is so beyond its limits that I am afraid of fake spiders. Fake rubbers ones, hairy, glow in the dark, whatever, I just don't like them. I can not look at a spider on TV, movies, coloring books, reading books, videos, in person at the Aquarium, just no where. It's a really bad problem and I need help with it. But if help involves me being in a room with one or touching one (real or fake) then count me out! I like and hate Halloween, because I like scary houses, but that's when the display of spiders come out. At scary houses and Six Flags, they are hanging and displayed everywhere. I remember at Six Flags, one was hanging in front of the threshold of the candy shop door. The air was blowing inside the candy shop causing the spider fake hair to move and the body itself. Did I go in, NO! lol! Do you think I like going to the toy section and seeing that stuffed tarantula on the shelves, NO! My sister chase me through the store with it and believe me I ran. Being afraid of something is of course a mind thing. You can see something cute and innocent and remember seeing it in a movie as a bad and horrifying thing. It seems simple to get over that fear, but its not.

I'm not afraid of anything, I'm not saying I always was like this. But I've learned there's nothing to be really afraid of. There's nothing to fear, besides fear itself.
