If you're born a girl, you'll always be a girl and vice versa.

But yes, it's difficult to bring that subject up. I think the best thing to do when you found out was to calmly tell the person you aren't interested in transgenders and you apologize and leave. But I realize you were in shock, and rightfully so.

I think I'm somewhat biased as I have transgender friends. They mentally identify as female. Physically they technically will always be male. But I guess there are some transgender girls where you just wouldn't ever know.

If she was post-OP... I wonder how this story would have turned out then.

The shock is totally understandable. Especially, when the poor guy gets that far with her >.<
