I've played (and loved) both Borderlands games and I've tried out a few of characters and my personal favorite so far is Lilith, with Zero as a close second.

Roland for Borderlands, I forgot what's his name in Borderlands 2 but he's the Gunzerker class. Like you, I also spent countless hours playing both games. I enjoy games that have a ton of weapons and items.

Lilith is one of my favourites, and I loved Claptrap and Handsome Jack as well ^_^
