Which is the best OS? #1
For me it's windows 7 just because of it's effectiveness and privacy compared to other windows, otherwise linux but it's hard. What's your favorite?

I've been using Windows since the good old16 bit Windows 3.1 back In the 90s, hence my choice In OS type Is obvious.

I'm partial to Windows 10.

Linux isn't hard at all, you can do mostbthings in graphical programs just like in Windows. The console isn't hard either, just takes some time to get used to. My suggestion is to force yourself into it by installing one without a GUI, and work your way up from there.

I've tried Plan9 and liked it, it was great and there are a lot of neat things implemented. My other favorites include Arch or Antergos Core, and macOS. macOS is as customizable as Linux, there's just a lot less info on how to do it. It's also likely more respecting of privacy in comparison to Windows 7, 8, and 10.

Windows 7 is definately not the most privacy aware Windows version. That would probably go to Windows 1, but Windows PE and CE builds are probably also better.

I would have to go with MacOS, only because it's the only OS I've been able to use for the past 2 years. Once I get my lappie in a few weeks, I think I am going to go Debian.

The OS you feel most comfortable is best for you. For me it's Windows. I only prefer Linux distros on server-side, they're not ideal for me to personal use

I've always said that the OS does depend on one's overall usability.

You've summed It up well.

You are 100% correct. I think the same way, what you use and how you use it. Is all about how it's gonna function. PERIOD

I would also have to go with macOS, although it's gotten bad recently.

Very true, it's gotten kinda bad recently with all that security bullshit. Me and @"phyrrus9" were talking about it one day, and he said it's just a way for them to distract the skido's from the real vulns, and I agree with that a little.
