Where did it go wrong 07-16-2015, 10:09 PM

From bees colonies collapsing because of insecticides, to the ever rising temperature of the Earth I wonder where it went wrong. In the past 108 (1900-2008) years we have gone from around 2500 to 35000 (source http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/ghgemis...lobal.html ). We need to make the Earth last as long as possible for generations of the future so they can experience the earth the way we experience it now. We need to preserve the ice caps and keep global warming to a minimum to prevent places like New York City and island nations like Dubai and Japan last and keep them from sinking into the ocean. The Earth is out home and we need to protect it and its inhabitants (that means everything living, except diseases because bacteria is technically a living organism). So think about it carefully and consider doing what i'm doing. Try conserving as much energy and water as you can. If worst comes to worst we will all mot likely die as we have either destroyed ourselves, aliens destroyed us, or the earth basically dies out. The best case scenario is that we develop spacecraft so advanced we can travel to exoplanets in months and become an intergalactic species that travels the cosmos all the while living forever in android bodies. But if worst comes to worse we can all wonder where it all went wrong.
