Where are real hackers ? 03-25-2012, 09:06 PM

Hi every body,
I know that this topic is probably going to create some reactions : it's fine.
I'm new on this forum, and I am a bit disappointed. I thought that there was real hackers, trying to find weaknesses in current protocols used in computers science. But there's a lot of people who give and read "tutorials" about how to exploit this and that, without any kind of fundamental understanding. In other words, without knowledge. Sorry guys, I call you "script kiddie". Everybody can do this too by following tutorials...
My question is simple : where are real hackers ?! Where can I find a community where I can talk about serious issues ?
Well... I can talk, I am not an hacker too, not yet. But I'm studying in computers science and I can tell you that : I will probably never be able to use "Prorate", or any exploit properly, but in a few years, I'll be an hacker, a real one !
Also : please stop calling you hacker !

Reading tutorials doesn't make anyone "script kiddie".
Script kiddies are those people who simply use an already made software to hack into systems without knowing the internal working of the software.
You never said up there who you consider to be true hackers. I believe they are people who have the desire of learning the working principle of various things and using that knowledge for doing something that skips the common eye. It need not necessarily be evil.
Its true that people are mostly interested in exploiting vulnerabilities more than gaining inside knowledge nowadays. But the hacker breed is not yet extinct. I'm sure you can find some good hackers in places like these.
Cheers.

How would we know, we're "script kiddies", remember?

Sorry that I have to tell you this, but everywhere there are heaps of people you would call "script kiddies" and I would call "wannabie hackers" and others might call "normal humans". The tiny percentage of "real hackers" I would call "computer specialists" and others might call "professionals", is existing, at this place as much as everywhere else on the internet. Believe me, if there would be a Hacking Forum that would be known for it's high rate of "real hackers", it would immediately be flooded by all these "script kiddies" that think, if they are part of it, they are "real hackers", too.
But what I honestly have to say, even though you won't ike it, is that some guy, that can't use a search engine properly to find a place with "real hackers", probably never will be one of them. And then it is tactically dumb to ask the community you just sweared about for a advise.

Not again...
If you actually read tutorials, you try to gain knowledge. That is a lot more than any script kiddie would ever do.
Everybody has to start somewhere, its in humans nature that they will first learn the exploits and all of these cool stuff and later they will learn all of the details on why it works etc.
Actually? Do you know exactly how processor works? What is the difference between a calculator and computer? All of the differences between CPU/GPU/APU?
You should when you use them all day long.
Not mentioning the internet-networking, handshakes, all kinds of protocols, authentications and all of the stuff that you use simply to view a website.
As I say to all of these "Your all skids! I'm a hacker" people like you - If you don't like the forum, feel free to leave =)
Staff will never ever ask you for your personal information.
We know everything about you anyway.
