[Cosmic]

This one is a kid's book. It tells the story of two characters: Dan and Eddie accompanied by their dog Bes, as they travel across Western Australia in search of their mother.

Without giving too much away, the story entails the hardships of their earlier life and the road ahead of them. They encounter a few issues before the story reaches it's climax when the boys meet up with a gang of would be soldiers, who take them under their wing and travel with them. The boys go on an unforgettable journey, that really makes you want to keep on reading.

Great book. Even though it's aimed at kids, if you're older you could read it and see the deeper meaning.
