WhatsApp vs. Telegram

Which one do you prefer and why? Do you use both or just one of them?
I would love to know your opinion

I prefer Telegram or Signal. I've stopped using Whatsapp. FB knows too much about me already.

I would say neither. It's definitely better to be using Signal. It functions pretty similarly to WhatsApp and Telegram, bit Signal is open source.

Actually, Signal just recently got subpoenaed by the FBI. And all Signal provided to the FBI, was the account in question's last connection time, and account creation date. That's it.

Hopefully a court order doesn't have an Impact to hand over additional Information.

I prefer Telegram as well. The only problem with Telegram is that encryption is not on by default. Even when it is enabled, it seems to be device-specific... making it somewhat undesirable.

much prefer telegram. I think it's easier to navigate and communicate in groups which is what I primarily do on there.
