Whats your opinion about Buddhism?

Religion Is Immaterial to me.

I take each person for who they are- kindness, caring, affectionate, supportive etc. If they lack these attributes, then they're not part of my equation.

Buddha was such a dick... He was a prince who saw terrible things in the world, and his solution was to sit under a tree until he forgot about others suffering...
He could have done good things using his wealth and have helped people, but instead he sat there until he became delusional.

I surely disagree with you. Have you ever meet someone son of millionaires? Like those rich Arabs princes?

People that are raised in such an environment, normally tend to disrespect/ don't care/ think they are the best in the world. They are used to get everything they want, when they want, without any problem.

Buda was born in that environment. And guess what? He could see that the world was much bigger than that, he dumped everything and went out, he researched/discovered the world, he lived in the poorest conditions possible. He went from one extreme to the other and thought about it.

Honestly, I agree with him, peace and happiness come from inside, and the all the things that you own, or don't own, doesn't matter at all. Ask yourself, what is the purpose of your life in this world? What are we all fking doing here? What that fuck is happiness? What is love?

Those are some questions that he tried to answer, and I don't know what I'm talking about anymore, high as fuck.

I'm not a religious person, but I like to ask myself, why those people did what they did, how they thought to get to that point, what was the path, the logic, the environment, so many variables.

I think its very very interesting, lots of valueable information can be found in the buddhistic writings. although im not an expert on buddhism, i did a bit of reading on the subject, i have lived with a buddhistic monk, saw a couple of rituals, heard very interesting stories, saw buddhistic magic in action. Plus i studied and practised both left and right hand forms of hinduism, which in a couple of way i think overlaps with Buddhism quite a bit. I think the followers of Buddha have a very interesting pure way of life.

Buddhism is one of those religions that kinda avoids tying you down and being organized like the Abrahamic religions and most other common religions throughout the world. Not to say Buddhism can't be organized but it is inherently self introspective and there's many positive qualities of that which could help to create a more disciplined and positive mind.
