But what if despite your terrible injury you fight on helping to raise awareness/money for the hospital that saved your life?

Quote:"Know ye not that thine bodies are the temple of God?" - 1 Corinthians 6:19, Holy BibleJust because we're sitting behind computers for our hobbies or careers, doesn't mean our bodies aren't important. I hope to be sitting in a nursing home on my hover-chair with a twenty-core laptop writing some C++++ or HTML19.
Quote:"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." - Benjamin FranklinI got this one from somebody's signature, though I don't recall if it was this forum or elsewhere.
Quote:"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution impossible." - John F. KennedyThis one speaks for itself.

Or more seriously, what doesn't kill makes you stronger :yes::yes:
I think the hole "What doesn't kill you, makes your stronger" is a terrible motto.
First of all, it doesn't really make sense.
For example;
I lose my legs, and arms in some freak accident, but I live to tell the tail. Does that make me stronger? HELL NO! First of all, I'm mentally scared because of my traumatic experience, I'm insecure and I am now completely dependent on other people.

Everyone has a different motto or none. BUt this one works for me. I didn't go through what you describe but i went trough other pretty heavy stuff, and i am still here , and still fighting.
Sorry about what happened to you though....
