What would you change about yourself? #1
What's one thing you don't like about your habits or personality that you would like to change?

It can be anything, from not going to the gym often enough, or being forgetful about appointments. You could also list something you've already been working on, or changes you've successfully made too.

Mine would be that I'd like to work on becoming a better listener. In conversations I'd like to move away from "listening to find a good opportunity to talk" and closer to "listening to understand someone".

I totally hear you there.

For me it's complicated, but I would 'fine tune' parts of my ADHD. Like my inability to keep interest in a project or hobby for extended periods, or how I can be looking right at you when you talk to me, but every word goes in one ear and one out the other.

I honestly enjoy a lot of my ADHD attributes, but I see lots of 'neurotypical' people that keep working on a project for years without losing interest. I can barely keep focused on a project for 2 weeks, let alone years

Those are some really good ones. I wouldn't like to presume and offer you ideas on how to do that, but I know a lot of ADHD sufferers have different strategies for these exact issues. However, they're in an industry that lends itself to flexibility. E.g. Having art as a hobby or career could allow you to have several projects on the go, or themes that you're working on. So you can jump between ideas or make smaller/faster types of artwork so you can move onto the next one.

Some of those are tailoring your hobbies to suit the ADHD, and some are daily habits to form. This could be really irrelevant to you though as I don't know your hobbies. xD

I have never been a vain person, but as I get older my hair is thinning. Seriously considering getting a hair transplant soon, which feels crazy but also exciting.

There's a lot of stigma about getting "work done" or doing anything that isn't 100% natural. In my opinion, personal happiness is more important than someone else's opinion. If a hair transplant will help you feel more like yourself, do it! As long as you're making a healthy decision for yourself, I see no issues. Glad t hear you're excited & good luck!

EVERYTHING. I'm too short. I hate that I have broad shoulders. No shape. I HATE my face. My jaw protrudes as far as my nose. Like a "monkey mouth" and it's all I can think about almost 24/7 bc I'm so self conscious. I hate my widows peak. My nose. My teeth. My smile is horrible and makes me look disgusting. I have the worst side profile I've ever seen. I give myself a 0/10 in complete honesty. Gonna work on my weight but I feel disgusting even at my lowest weight

Thanks, yeah there is especially stigma around men doing so, like it isn't masculine to be self-conscious about your appearance etc. I would like to see that change.

i guess im one of the few that has undergone plastic surgery, i got my eyes and nose done last year. now, what i'd change aboutt myself physically wouldnt just be a feature, but rather my entire face because theres a lot of people i prefer their face over mine. not that i hate myself, but just looking at it objectively
