If it were better at launch it could’ve been a solid game

I'd argue just give it a few months and then start playing. A game doesn't have to be perfect at launch to make it a good game.

Yes initial reviews can change the immediate success of a game, but I understand there has been a lot of updates since launch. It's certainly something I'm looking to play in the next year or so.

The honest answer to the question is - it depends. If you want to experience a well-realized world with unique characters and a decent story, and have a powerful PC to play on, then go for it. For everyone else, I can’t recommend the game. The game’s console performance is still not great, but if you have a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S console, then sure, take it for a spin.

Game was simply over-hyped and expectations just couldn't be met. Overall, after some fixes solid title but not even near GTA5

It is good. Rocky-ish start. It is nowhere as amazing as the witcher 3, but still good. I like the gameplay and storyline. I didn't have many bugs but I think that was mainly on console.

I think Johnny Silverhand is one of the best characters in gaming history. The game hated due to lots of bugs and wrong game promotion, but instead of these it was a masterpeace. It had an impressive story and presentation.
