I've always had it in my mind that i've wanted to become a high school teacher. Not alot of people have the gift of being 'overly' smart (sorry i know that sounds stuck up but really i'm not), so therefore instead of keeping it to myself, why not help others achieve their goals? I think it's a rewarding job not only for myself but for someone else too.

I also hate the generalised working conditions/hours - ie. get up early, come home late.. etc. I don't want to sit at a desk all day. I want flexibility and at a school you get that.

Some people say i'm wasting my talent because i'm a programmer/developer and I could be earning big $$. True, i could be but it wouldn't make me happy sitting at a desk all day every day on a computer.
