I honestly couldn't use anything else after having the ones without a side bezel.

Does it impact performance a lot?

I can't really say because I brought my monitor when I brought myself a new computer, but I don't think it would effect performance too much, and even if it did, I still think it would be worth it.

@ home, I just work with 2 monitors.

When it comes to monitors, I appreciate minimalism, good specs and none of that glossy f4t4l1ty plastic crap/led-circus show. With this in mind, I am fond of Dells ultrasharp line, very good quality. The monitors are daisy chained which means minimal cord clutter.
