I can't understand this, do you mind explaining it a bit more?

We are never satisfied with what we have, as that would be 'unwise'. But somebody out there could kill for "your" life.
For all our life we try to become what we are not *yet*, and we take what we have or can do for granted.

Don't get me wrong as negative as it sounds, it's a good thing.

I wouldn't say we are never satisfied with what we have, but that we want and in my opinion should seek for more.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean with this, but I would say that if the goal is realistic, you can achieve and become better at it.

The meaning of life is what you make it, this will be different for each person but basically what I mean is live life for yourself and aim to achieve your goals. As far as my beliefs go a person gets one shot at it so be all you can be.

I think existentialism is rather interesting.

I actually find what @Geoff said quite depressing.
That's not a meaning of life, it's the lack of it in my opinion.

Congratz! You understood the point.

There is no meaning to life. its simply living. Do you think a dog wonders what the meaning of life is? how about a dolphin? elephant? bear? See what we all have in common? Eating. Sleeping. Fucking. Dying.

I dont believe the ability of higher reasoning endows us with a higher purpose than any other animal.

So enjoy it. Make the best of it. Then die.

We are "more" conscious than those animals listed, therefore we can seek for answers instead of simply eating/sleeping/fucking/dying.

I agree that we don't have a higher purpose but we got higher reasoning than any other species currently known.

I can say that this is different than what you said earlier, at least in my opinion, eating/sleeping/fucking isn't making the best of it.
