What is Your Favorite Thing to Do on a Date? 01-28-2014, 03:47 AM

So, what are your favorite things to do when you go out on a date?
For me, it's going out to dinner. I like being able to enjoy a few drinks and a nice meal. It also gives you the chance to chat.

Dinner or movies. Although with movies it's hard to talk to the person, which is a downside.

My BF and I have only been to the movies together twice. Maybe three times. I'm not really a fan. I have ADD, so I get really bored sitting there watching a movie for that long. I like being able to move around and get comfortable when I watch TV/movies. Plus, you can't talk in a theater.
If you're going to watch a movie together, it's best to do it at home so that you can snuggle up on the couch. But then, you don't always end up watching the movie...ahh well.

Probably either going out to dinner, movies at home, or just chilling with each other and some friends.

Ideally, I think the loveliest date I've been on was movies followed by late night ice cream. The movies are nice because you have an immediate conversation starter (discussing the movie) to talk about over ice cream, and it's usually a good kickoff point because from there you move on to your favorite movies, favorites, etc. etc. and before you know it you're having a really great time learning about someone new.
Then again, it's better in theory than in practice, as movie etiquette is something of which I am very particular, and if a girl talks too loudly during previews or talks during the movies, it can really sour a date that might have gone much smoother elsewhere.
