What is Kratom - Explained #1
Introduction

Kratom is made from the leaves of the mitragyna speciosa plant. It is native to southeast Asia, in places such as Borneo, and, more commonly, Indonesia. It is in the same family as the coffee tree and has been used as a part of herbal medicine for centuries in its native areas. Being as it is that kratom is a member of the coffee family, many consider it to be no more addictive or dangerous than coffee. It is used as a stimulant, a sedative, a treatment for diarrhea, a pain reliever, and for opioid addiction (as an alternative to prescription medications such as Suboxone or Methadone).

Kratom is pretty awesome actually. I've taken it quiet a few times myself and have other friends who swear by it. Also have heard stories of it helping people with pain, anxiety and energy. And yeah as you mentioned it's really big in the southeast Asia, they use it for a ton of stuff there. Was pretty stoked to read this.

Very good way of putting it simply. I have used Kratom a good bit in the past and have had (while varying) great effects from it.
