Don't count your eggs till they hatch.. You can't be sure that you would live.

On topic: I would spend the other 364 days tending to my bunker to keep it in ship-shape for that one night. I would keep guns, ammunition, food, water, possibly a smart car (just in case I need to leave.. a smart car since they have good gas mileage) and maybe extra clothes. Kind of like an advanced tree house.

I would also make an underground passage way that lead you to banks, buildings, and homes.
