It depends on what you like. I loved Diablo 2, that's why I am playing Path Of Exile right now. If you like Hack 'n Slash MMO's that's the one to go for.

GTA series are pretty good if you like single player.
Spec Ops: The Line is also nice to play.

If you're looking for a better war simulator than Battlefield, COD, I can recommend the Arma series (available on HumbleBundle right now)

Have you considered The Elder Scrolls Series? Or maybe The Witcher Trilogy? If your into Multiplayer Survival, I'd suggest games like Rust, DayZ Or Arma.
