What does your routine look like? #1
I think it's interesting to look at other peoples routines and how they try to maximize their productivity.

Personally, mine looks something like this (and I consider myself semi-productive)

Get up as late as possible and try to get to breakfast

Class

In between classes get work done for upcoming classes or classes in a few days. If I don't have that kind of work I try to review the material from the classes I just had but usually just end up browsing SL

After classes are over I
A. Nap, especially if i got <6 hours of sleep
B.) Eat something
C.)Play Overwatch/shower/active on SL to destress (max 2hrs)
After that usually I just do work.
\
Work Routine:

I work like a CPU works (I curiously noticed this one night). Usually I have some kind of time I ascribe to a certain activity, like 1 hour (that'd be my time quantum) and then I round-robin through everything I have to get done. I apply to Pomodoro technique to all my work. Usually I get some stuff done other things not done, and I try to go to sleep before 4AM. I stay up later if there's a high-priority thing I need to get done and I just haven't finished it yet.

I go to sleep around 2AM-4AM and get up from 8AM-11AM. classes usually start at ~noon, so I can do this. I prefer working nights. It's quieter and there are less people fucking around.

watchabout you guys?

Whilst at work, I have no Interest there and no life, I simply force myself to be there and can't wait to arrive home.

When at home, I'm up until around 4am on my PCs each night, sleep for 5-6 hours and awake back on my systems. To take a break from computing, I attend lunch with a few friends and upon my arrival home, back to my computational tasks until 4am and the same for each and every day when not at my brain-dead job.

Just wondering, do you frequent any forums besides Sinisterly under a different alias?

This Is the first username I've chosen, and has never changed since day one.

I'm on another forum with not too much activity happening there, so predominantly (forum-wise) my time Is spent on this board.

Basically.

  1. Wake up around 5:30AM
  2. Check SL, other Forums and Play a few Games. Finish any Work Necessary
  3. Leave house at 7, Start Classes at 8-ish
    • Between classes I basically just finish work, sleep (lol), check support request, syslogs, etc
  4. Get done anywhere from 3:15-5:30. Depends.
  5. Go home and sleep until anywhere from 11-1 in the morning.
  6. Do work/study, visit SL, games, work on programming projects.
  7. Usually go back to sleep around 3 until I get up at 5:30 thus repeating the cycle.

Note: I will make time before going to sleep in the afternoon for SE projects or stuff where I have to be awake with everyone else.

I'll also probably throw a job in there soon as well...

I live a very boring life Biggrin.

Basically I wake up, eat, brush my teeth and stuff like that. Then I do my daily cycling, then I go home or drive in my car to maybe something important. Then I just sit behind my computer and work here and there. Then I eat lunch. Then I sit behind my computer again. Then I eat dinner. Then I sit behind my computer again. Then I maybe have to drive to something important or not. And then I go to sleep.
