I think money is part of it. Doing what one wants can involve a lot of money or it might not. I think a combination of both makes one happy. As much as I love spending time with family and friends, having money to do so at a nice beautiful club wouldn't hurt. Might even enhance the time with them.

Agree.

The entire globe revolves around finances. Paying rent, eating, your articles of clothing etc- without money these entities will not be fulfilled. Money Is survival.

It's a double edged sword. It's both the basis of luxury and basics

I think all I would need to achieve happiness is good health and good friends around me.

For me, happiness is when my daughter runs to meet me after a long working day and a hot dinner made by a wife is waiting for me. After it I'll have a glass of beer and play some game from this rating [redacted]. I know, it's simple, but I love it.

money for sure, you don't need to be rich but comfortable enough not to worry about the basics like rent/mortgage, food, and the occasional entertainment or yearly vacation. Studies show that after $70,00 per year your happiness doesn't increase so that's probably a reasonable target to aim for assuming you dont have to take jobs you hate

Agree.

A lot of marriage breakups, clinical depression etc Is a result of not being able to make ends meet. Although It cannot buy health, not having financial Issues and living comfortably each day, certainly Increased your well-being.
