I'm hoping to start designing my own interpreter soon (I found a video I'll be sharing soonish), and I want to build the parser from the ground up, which gives me full control over the language's syntax, keywords, and all the rest.
Knowing this, I want to make its idioms and conventions something everyone thinks is usable and easily understood. What do you like and dislike in syntax and conventions? Brownie points for examples.
