The actual rice looks nice. If you don't mind, what WM are you using? I've been using bspwm since switching from i3. And I just started using Linux again after getting fed up with Windows. I'm gonna try and fix it tonight. It has something to do with xorg.

& yea X can be annoying if it decides to break. I'm using the default WM from xfce4, just configured it to act like a tiling WM but i can still stack if want to, kinda convenient.
Can't be bothered to switch and relearn/configure another one xd
And compton for the window transparency and blur.
