i think we cant say drugs for everything and put a label atached to it, some things like marijuana are very good in my opinion if you can control yourself but some drugs like MDMA Fentanyl etc its purelly degradation

Recreational drugs are not bad as long as it does not affect your life negatively

It can be a fine line between recreational and addiction. I try not to use drugs like opiates, benzos, and amphetamines more than once or twice a week to avoid tolerance and chemical dependence which is where I see it becoming an issue
