Mine would be Weed (obviously cus its not harmful, has good effect and also heals your body if you just take the oil) and Xtc. Both are harmless

This ^^
In fact In my locality, they've now recommended 3-4 cups of coffee per day. I love my caffè latte- of which I shall make a double shot Immediately after this post.
Yet HIGHLY addicting

I've found it more interesting to research drugs than to take them.
(Although I guess I'm unqualified to say so, since I haven't tried any recreationally unless you count caffeine. Â I'm constantly on the above two though)

You haven't done your research then... Dependence on anything is bad for you. Your tolerance will raise over time. As you drink more coffee the dopamine receptors in your brain will be weaker when not on coffee and you will be more fatigued due to physical and mental dependence on coffee. Try using google
Quote:Dependence on anything is bad for youThat's a huge generalization. Â We depend on air, is that bad?
Quote:Your tolerance will raise over timeYes, that's true
Quote:As you drink more coffee the dopamine receptors in your brain will be weakerThat's an oversimplification. Â Also, do you have a link to the study on this? Preferably a link to a replication study as well as the original. Or, better yet, a meta-review of many studies on it.
Quote:and you will be more fatigued due to physical and mental dependence on coffee.Stop and go through withdrawals then, it'll get better pretty quickly. Â Furthermore, you can drink coffee without growing dependent on it, just don't do it consistently and you'll be fine.
Quote:Try using googleMost of the 'science' that you find on the first page of Google is shit, try Google Scholar instead. Â Not that I'm saying that you're wrong (in a lot of it, you're more or less correct), but that's not a great way to do research.

first off both are not harmless.

Smoking weed is pretty bad for you actually, and most of the 'the oil heals your body' stuff is bullshit pseudo-science. Â
Here's a fun fact about weed: It actually is physically addictive. Â Most people don't know it, because the withdrawals are very mild (like with caffeine), but it still is technically physically addictive, not just mentally. Â That doesn't mean it's bad as a result, just that people who say that it's only psychological are wrong.
