For Maximium protection you can install both together and turn off some functions for better performance.

Do you experience any compatibility Issues, or conflict of detection with two AVs running side by side?

Actually, there's just a warning , but all functions are working fine.

Good to know this combination works.

I've experienced quite a few AVs that are not compatible.
Thanks for confirming.

Yeah, you can install 2 AVs in 1 VM and 3 VMs = 6 AVs to test crypter or something.
Cool right?

Cool right?

I only have AVs Installed on selected VMs. When I wish to solely test a tool, the AV's false positive detection Interferes.

Although you can take a snapshot at the time of creating a VM (which can fail to restore), It's also good practice to backup the VHD. In the event of Infection, simply dismount the Infected VHD and mount the backup. The entire process takes less than a minute.

I'm using Malwarebytes premium and avast premier.
They are pretty good, I recommend them.

MBAM can run alongside any AV, but I have found this combination works well together.

In my views, Avast Is excellent In It's overall detection. It's Internet Security comes packed with features such as Wi-Fi Inspector, Ransomware Shield, Sandbox, SecureLine VPN, Password Manager and more. I highly recommend It.

Adding to this, to help prevent an array of fingerprinting on a browser, personal and device level, disable JavaScript.

Only enable as the need comes to hand.
