Many years ago Kaspersky was quite resource-hungry, but has since Improved to some degree.

I do agree that It's a good all-round protection, namely Kaspersky Total Security.

RKill Is more so an Anti-Spyware, and ScanRat Is classed as a malware removal tool- both of which serve their purpose well and can run alongside any AV.

McAfee also performs well.

At times, It can be difficult to Identify what Is In fact safe.

It's good practice to have a dedicated system when navigating the unknown, either a virtual environment or physical machine.
