I would highly recommend using Mullvad VPN. If you care about your privacy - then you hit the jackpot. This VPN service is among the most trustable VPN sources out there. A lot of VPNs out there have saturated servers that many users use on a the daily - some use it to bypass firewalls, and others use it for fraudulent activates. This will increase the IP addresses' fraudulent score which in many cases will block you from streaming services, and/or being blocked from many other websites. I think you have seen this before, where you question how a VPN is advertising to bypass Netflix, Hulu, etc, when it wouldn't even work for you. Anddd... now you know why your "high quality" VPN is not bypassing the services it stated to bypass.

If you are using a VPN and want to scan the fraud score on it check this out:

I was told Nord VPN was good. Check them out, main concern would be the "No-Logs" policy.

Mullvad VPN is my go to. No email needed for sign up, takes multiple forms of payment (you can even mail in cash)

Either self host it, or don't use one at all. There is nothing to keep the 14 eyes from requesting information from the VPN provider. Stick to Tor, I2P, and FreeNet.

Didn't NordVPN just merge with some other big VPN company? That kind of consolidation would make me antsy and distrustful tbh

I guess that Proton VPN offers a much better value for money than Mulvad, my opinion. Proton has much more servers and the speed on the average is much higher. In case you are into business and need to get tons of geo-specific info from the web then I recommend to get some residential proxies. There are many ways to buy residential proxies – and the best one for you will depend on your specific needs. If you’re looking for a one-time purchase, you may want to consider buying them from an online marketplace. However, if you need a large number of proxies, it may be more cost-effective to buy them on Infatica https://infatica.io/residential-proxies/

No Issues on my end with Proton.

It's very stable and responsive with minimal dropouts.
