I always hear people talking about their favourite individual movie, but never a trilogy or a greater collection of movies.

For me personally, I absolutely love Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Following behind it would be Matt Reeves' Planet of The Apes trilogy - I still feel like this one does not get the love it deserves. A truly fantastic trilogy.

id say LOTR and the Hobbit triliogy was really good too idc what anyone says. other then that maybe just maybe the first three star wars

I like the cinematography in the third, and there are a small handful of good scenes, but overall I found it a confusing mess. The second one is really the best in the trilogy.

The books can definitely provide more background/depth. I always preferred the first one, since Vito is still in charge.

Dark Knight trilogy hands down. Planet of the Apes was also one of my favorites.

The godfather but I have to say I’ve never seen the last one. The guardians of the galaxy also solid I would say the third is actually the best perfect mix of comedy, story, and emotion.
