Like the user above said, you'll never have the same IP forever. But if you need a change now, you can always use a VPN. There is also an extension for Firefox that I just found called Trace. It uses dozens of methods to hide your identity. It can't change your IP, but it can change a lot of browser information.

For example, you want connect to a government website and write something for them via "Contact Us" form, but you don't like they find you.

When properly configured, just about everything you generate to a given website, Is recorded/logged In the back-end.

I've viewed entries submitted via the contact form, In thousands of websites during my day-to-day exploits.

Unless you're doing something illegal???,  what exactly  are you trying to keep anonymous from? Are you trying to hide gay porn from your otherwise unsuspecting girlfriend????

Most cybercriminals route their traffic through a hacked persons device, about 80% of the devices are hacked with that purpose, (i.e part of a botnet). Basically, law enforcement agencies could lock up anyone here if they would care enough since we all have traces of "criminal activity" even though we didn´t do shit. You only need one infected device connected to your network and you are potentially fucked. You have no idea what happens in your network (ransomware, hitman attacks etc.) unless you keep checking your logs, take safety measures etc. so keeping good opsec is essential for anyone. Someone might even plant illegal shit on your pc for personal reasons, like if your girlfriend found that gay porn Wink

Hello,
To browse a website without your IP address being recorded, using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a reliable solution. A VPN encrypts your internet connection and routes it through a remote server, masking your IP address and making it appear as if you're accessing the internet from a different location.

While there might be tricks or techniques to attempt to obscure your IP address, such as using proxy servers or altering browser settings, these methods may not provide the same level of privacy and security as a VPN.

I recommend using the NordVPN server. It's reliable, secure, offers fast connections, easy to use, threat protection, offers 24/7 support, and has "Split tunneling" functionality.
With a NordVPN, you can confidently browse websites without worrying about your IP address being tracked.
