Watching Avatar 8 years later #1
There's a TV channel here that's been playing Avatar a lot recently, so I decided to watch it for the first (maybe second?) time since it came out in theaters.

As with most old sci-fi/fantasy movies, there's plenty of plot holes and weird character development, but for a movie that was pretty much entirely CG made in 2009, the graphics and effects still hold up pretty well. Again, I'm not a huge fan of the majority of the story, but if the second one comes out I'll probably watch it.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

What the fuck is Avatar? Do you mean like, Avatar the last airbender, or that gay one where there are blue people?

I'm pretty sure James Cameron didn't direct The Last Airbender, which also wasn't made in 2009.

It's hard to believe the movie is 8 years old. Time sure does go by pretty damn fast.

It's 8 years old now?? What the actual fuck.

It felt like I watched this at the cinemas on release date a few years ago.. Time flies.

If you want to feel really old, the DS Lite is 11.

It used to be a very unique movie. Not sure how it fares now. But might rewatch it too, because when I think about it, I hardly remember anything.

I seen it last week on e4 for the first time. I enjoyed it , I tried to watch it when it first come out but I fell to sleep in the first 15 minuted and never bothered again. To be fair tho I did smoke alot of weed at the time...

Id say check it out if it comes on t.v not really worth going out of your way other than that otherwise.
