Sadly, may not protect people who have already been compromised but it wouldn't hurt to recommend people change their passwords and give 2FA a go should it become available.

People using bad passwords or re-using credentials from other sites that were breached. None were upgraded and none had more than 5 posts.

It's been suggested, and we're probably adding it today.

Likewise, I can't protect people from themselves. Don't download anything sketchy and don't re-use passwords.

I completely understand.

People are their own biggest and best protection if they use common sense. No one needs to run everything in Kali, utilize 10 VPNs, and wear a tinfoil hat on their head to block alien rays, they need to be smart and think about what they are running and where they are typing their details.

Having two-factor authentication available would just make members feel safer and would hopefully prevent fewer accounts from being hacked each year due to people's own mistakes (account sharing, reusing passwords, using weak passwords, etc.)

2 factor will add some additional protection for people that are re-using passwords (or infected). Unfortunately, those people will need to enable it to begin with.

An update, but existing implementations for 2FA are dysfunctional. Figured we'd have it added by now, but it will take some time.
