Warcraft Movie?

Anyone else planning to see it or seen it already? Going to see it tonight with @"Boudica" and a relative. I saw a trailer at last Blizzcon and played Blizzard games a lot when I was younger. Still play WoW/Hearthstone a little, but I can't recall much of the lore. It will be interesting to see the movie, although I have heard the plot is lacking.

This movie seems REALLY cool, but like you I've also heard the plot is lacking.

I played WoW a fuckton back in the day, and the release of this movie was a bit exciting. I don't usually like 'Video Game Movies' though. They can be a bit cringy to watch and don't stay true to the story/lore + the CGI is usually subpar.

Maybe this one will be different though. There's alot of hype surrounding it and people have been saying good things.

Oni will just have to report back after the movie :p

People have said that it doesn't stay entirely true to the lore etc but does so to the extent it possibly can as a film. You can't put everything in I guess.

I'm tempted to play it in a little while as I haven't played in months.

Eh, it looks cool enough. I played a ton of Warcraft III years back, so I can remember some of the lore stuff, but not a ton. I'm the only one in the family who doesn't play WoW though, so with any luck I'll be dragged into going with them if we go to see it.

Eh I'm always reserved with all CGI movies like these. They don't really age well. I might watch it with a few friends.

It looks awesome, never really knew anything about the Lore. But movie looks great.
