Virtual Box Help w/ BT5 #1
So I recently purchased a SSD drive as it only has 100 gigs so I thought it would be a good idea to buy a 2TB internal drive for other stuff like games. Is there anyway to tell virtualbox to install BT5 on my D:\ drive?

Yeah there should be an option to install it anywhere you want while your setting up your vm

Not sure where it would be exactly as I use vmware I know there is an option to do it with that and I'm pretty sure there should be one on virtual box I will install it later and have a look around for you

BT5 INSTALL TO VB
Above is a link explaining the details of getting Backtrack 5 installed to Virtualbox.
With-in that link is also an explanation of what drive it can be installed to.
P.S.-Pay heed to the instruction given pertaining to KDE itself and if you're using x86 instead of x86-64, I'm sure you already know to merely substitute the appropriate command accordingly.

When creating your virtual machine, go through the steps till you get to hard drive settings. When you get to the hard drive settings, create a new one and make it a VDI (virtualbox disk image.) Select either dynamically allocated, or fixed size. Once you get to the file location and size click on the dropdown menu and put it wherever you want! Then select your size and hit create!

I keep all of my virutal machines on my external drive, just so I can have them wherever I want all in one place
