Venting Method For Anime Creators? 09-18-2017, 10:25 PM

What if I were to tell you that I personally believe that there are anime series created to vent a person's traumatic life experiences in a healthy fashion?
As I've stated on my application one prime example behind that conclusion is full metal alchemist. I feel as though the creator lost a close friend or relative and spent the early part of his life trying to figure out how to fill the void with what was taken away... Maybe due to an accident caused by the creator (hence the alchemy accident( but that is a mere taste of my hypothesis) Maybe Edward being hollow in the suit of armour was resembling the fact that the author feels empty and unprotected with out the person they've lost. Any input on this subject is welcomed and looking forward to an educated discussion
@oni and @jiggly I'm expecially interested in your input or outlook
