Does anybody know where I can get some cheap VPS hosting while still safe and secure? I mean under $10 a month.

I think DigitalOcean is pretty good. They have both good price, and fair amount of hardware. They bill you per hour, so if you decide to stop doing what you're doing, you almost don't loose anything.

Refferal Link, please?
Normal Link

I only checked the second code, and I am sure it works, so you can get some time for free Smile

SSDCHP20 - 20 $ Free Credits
10 $ Promo (Click on Dokku-related link)
SSDTWTTR - 10$
OMGSSD10 - 10$
WEBDEV - 5$

Duubzy, keep in mind that it's probably best to get a package with Windows, since you know it's functioning on Windows.
It'll probably cost a little more though, but I won't be able to help troubleshoot if it does break on a Linux VPS.

It's just that when we moved over to a Linux host, we had to spend two weeks getting the fucker to work again.

I would expect that windows is at least an option with VPS. I've been doing some research and as far as I can tell it really shouldn't be a problem. My problem is finding an affordable one, thanks though, Zebbers.

Many hosts will only provide Linux, as Linux-based servers are cheaper and more lightweight, and have fewer problems once it's all working.
Ones that do provide Windows servers have the habit of charging outta the ass, since it costs them more to setup and maintain.

Well, that seems to be the case, anyway. All anecdotal, so take it with a grain of salt.

Well then I guess that'd have to do. Fortunately I have a version of both windows and linux ch.py's.

The linux and windows ch.py aren't too far off from each other. I've used linux and windows with intellect. Course I've only used intellect with linux a few times considering I have windows 8. It was on a friends computer.

US based, $6 a month for 512 mb, $12 for 1024. I believe they're running a promotion for double the specs too.
