Has anyone else played VA-11 Hall-A? Had it on my wishlist a while and saw @"Skullmeat" play it.
I've actually enjoyed it a fair amount, given the game's simple mechanics. The dialogue is often interesting/funny enough to make it worthwhile.

I played it too, but it has been a while. To be honest, I am not that big of a VN player, but that game kinda made me change my mind. The music is catchy, all the characters are lovable and the story itself is told in a pretty amusing and intereseting way. I got hooked right away. I wish there were more games like that out there. There are multiple endings, did you know that?

I got the game a good while back after a recommendation from @Skullmeat due to the fact that it's supposed to be inspired in some ways by the VNs which were very popular on the NEC PC-9800 computer lineup that I love to collect for and that it was just fun - I have to say, it's a seriously enjoyable title.

The game has a solid story with many unique or strange characters who have good lines that develop as you play that keep you interested in the storyline, and was very smooth to run through - it never felt rushed or that it was too slow for me. The soundtrack was also fairly alright with a bunch of nice little tracks and the bonus of being right there in the game files if you had bought the game and wanted to listen to it on your own time. I had a good bit of fun with this one and I'm pretty happy that I got the recommendation as if I hadn't then I probably would've never bought the game.
