Up the requirements to be able to mark your thread as 'hot' 05-26-2016, 06:13 PM

Admittedly, this place is getting more popular, and currently, it would seem that the amount of views required on your thread are somewhat small. My point is, the stats required for your thread to be hot are small compared to the forum's popularity.
I'm thinking a new applicable number of views required for your thread to be marked as hot could be... 250?
Keeping the numbers/requirements to a high standard will increase the importance of a hot thread. They can also be meaningful to a member as it is an indication that their thread has done well. That meaningfulness is somewhat gone when basically any regular thread can be hot.
