You do realize that statistic proves my point? That number is the amount of USD each citizen would have to pay to relieve the nation of it's debt.

And then you aren't taking into account standards of living and average expendatures. Americans spend more money because they're used to it and the cost of living is higher.

There's a reason why US debt is rising.

Haha, no, we are not the Roman Empire. We are the WORST government in Humanity's history. We suck... I hate the United States, I was born here, and have never left it. I wish I was in Canada or something.

I can always tell the people who just hate the US because everyone else does when they say Canada is an improvement. Canada is basically just US North, except more moderate.

As for the debt, standards of living aren't different in the US and France, though that has nothing to do with the statistic you highlighted. In both countries, citizens expect running water, decent sized living space, sanitary streets, roadways, and protection.

I hate people like you. You should appreciate that you grew up in a country where you are free and can make your own damn choices. But maybe if you grew up in China, you may realize that we are a lot like the Roman Empire. Although now that I think my words over, you would probably be in a sweat shop.

People only like Canada because of it's stereotypical culture. I have a friend who just can't fathom the idea of a rude person in Canada.

Or perhaps some people just like the idealistic culture that is omitted. Canada is rarely known to be involved in major politics and has a free government. It's a quiet place with little drama.
That being said, there are a few places like that, although there are always exceptions.

They have their fair amount of drama, and are not the idealistic culture everyone has built them up to be. They just don't make the news to often, and no one really cares what Canada is doing.

In comparison to the US, barely.
And of course they aren't, but they are a lot closer to it then most other countries.

Well, it is hard to hear bad things about a country if you don't generally hear about them at all. Canada is a nice country. However, they are almost never on the news, and they try not to get involved in international affairs.
