[Defeat]

I tried to come up with situations in which a thread needs to be open for more than a year with no replies and I could come up with none.

My aforementioned posts are referring to old threads In general- with or without replies.

I've located one within 3 minutes, dated almost a year ago.  At the time of this post, the OP's last visit was 55 minutes ago, and his/her request In a subsequent post, Is yet to be fulfilled as per below.

The OP's question Is (obviously) yet to be answered, and his/her last visit was a little over 4 weeks ago.

What I meant by reply is, (last post being the original or when any user last commented).

What's the likelihood that these users are still looking for an answer a year past? Slim to none.
