I have been on multiple forums so far and sinister have average low activity when comparing with others. it's sad bcz sinister has more than 170k members. I don't know @Oni realizes this but forum is dying.

Bringing back hide tags will get more activity and make good old threads back at top

i know that it only bring spam but in some sections there's no activity in months. i'm telling that sinister can do better than other forums

Besides, Sinister.ly is not dying at all.

Since I discovered this forum I strongly reduced my activity on other forums, those that at the end they just work with the system @Oni was referring to, useless post, false online users connected and so on... Bad quality overall. It may seems that they have a lot or resources and things useful, but at the end is all low quality and copy-and-paste stuff that the Staff don't even care to take it down, because users create that kind of low-thread every day. The entire system don't simply work at the skull that's the problem. It's fried air, really.

I'm well aware of the boards you're referring to, and they contain 95% garbage and the rest Is trash. We certainly do not want to follow suit.

If I had a penny for every time I've heard "this forum is dying"... The filthy wealth I'd have would compete with Bezos and Musk!
This forum has been "dying" for so long we're essentially fossil fuel now

I can understand looking at the stats of other sites and believing that the activity isn't there. Of course, that is true in some of our sub forums and sections which aren't as popular, but you'll find less spam/LQ posts and a more tight knit community overall.

Staff and long term members will remember a lot of the users than come and go because they have better quality interactions with them, which has always been more valuable to the staff and members here.
