Acer have come a long way over the years, whereby nowadays they're very reliable and robust units. I don't deal with any other manufacturer.

I've still got a 17" Acer TravelMate that was purchased 8 years ago (weighs a ton), and It hasn't lost any functionality whatsoever.

And I'd say It's very safe to assume that you're happy with them.

In fact when my work upgraded their systems, they opted for Acer and given they're running Intensive tasks (pro 3D rendering, exhaustive I/O operations etc), I've yet to hear any complaints. In around 30 minutes I'm going to fully customize my Predator (the superior one with the GTX 1070) and benchmark It thereafter. I can't wait to see how It performs under heavy workloads.

Generally speaking, If you're not short on cash and want the best of the best In a laptop (utilized as a desktop replacement), then this Is the way to go. It'll chew any game on maximum res (and multitasking) you throw at It.
