Unboxing The Acer Predator 21 X #1
Greetings everyone,

So I purchased an Acer Predator lappy a few days ago (running the 7th gen quad core CPU, SSD, GTX 1060 6GB card and 16GB ram), and thought that's pretty good, unit I came across this on YouTube. It's a 9k (yes, 9,000$) Acer Predator laptop that's simply Insane.
Dedicate 5 minutes of your time to view It, you'll be Impressed.

Color me impressed, but why the fuck do people spend this kind of money on laptops? You could build a pair of battle stations at least twice as powerful for that much.

I was hoping 9k was some new super pixel display, but you had to indeed clarify that it is actually the price. My god.

The magnetic number pad/track pad is a really cool feature. But 9k for a laptop?

Alright, so while that is absolute amazing, that much on a laptop is simply outrageous considering your options when it comes to desktops with that budget.

It's great, but I'm left-handed and that feature Is pretty much useless to me.

Even the standard touch pad on most laptops Is positioned more so toward the left of the unit, therefore allowing ample room on the right hand side. I Struggle to use the minimal space available. Manufacturers need to realize that left-hand Individuals do exist and should cater for both. As for the price of this lappy, I certainly agree with everyone, It's ridiculous. That said, It'll be an awesome purchase for those who can afford It.

Looks like a portable desktop, almost. Even Alienwares aren't that thick. It does look quite awesome, though.

Agree (with the desktop appearance), particularly the keyboard.

Dell used to SLI config their cards but from what I heard, they were heating up excessively, hence they're only shipped with single cards. That would explain the somewhat slim-like appearance when comparing with the Predator here.

Seems cool, but there's no point in buying large gaming laptops unless you go places a lot, game a lot, and have someone else carry it for you all the time.
Basically, the only person this is good for is Elon Musk.

Anybody else who buys it will let it sit on their desk while they use it. If that is the case, you might as well get a good desktop build set up.
