Unboxing The Acer Predator 21 X 07-20-2017, 04:51 PM
#1
Greetings everyone,
So I purchased an Acer Predator lappy a few days ago (running the 7th gen quad core CPU, SSD, GTX 1060 6GB card and 16GB ram), and thought that's pretty good, unit I came across this on YouTube. It's a 9k (yes, 9,000$) Acer Predator laptop that's simply Insane.
Dedicate 5 minutes of your time to view It, you'll be Impressed.

Color me impressed, but why the fuck do people spend this kind of money on laptops? You could build a pair of battle stations at least twice as powerful for that much.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

I was hoping 9k was some new super pixel display, but you had to indeed clarify that it is actually the price. My god.

The magnetic number pad/track pad is a really cool feature. But 9k for a laptop?

Looks like a portable desktop, almost. Even Alienwares aren't that thick. It does look quite awesome, though.

Seems cool, but there's no point in buying large gaming laptops unless you go places a lot, game a lot, and have someone else carry it for you all the time.
Basically, the only person this is good for is Elon Musk.
Anybody else who buys it will let it sit on their desk while they use it. If that is the case, you might as well get a good desktop build set up.
