well specfically the frigkin "uplay" system. its horrible.

on a scale of 1 - 10 , i hate it with the same fury of the 10k burning suns.

i hate losing saved data and this is a perfect example of how i almost lost 27hrs of game play.
yes i did pirate AC2. then i bought it because its one of the best games i have ever played.
the legit version didn't see my saved game files. so every time i opened up my saved game it would be 0% completion instead of my 65% or something. i finally found out where the SKIDROW (props to one of the greatest cracking teams of all time) version and the legit version put there saves. so i dropped the skidrow saved game in the legit directory.

NOPE.
after a little while i finally found out that Uplay has a cloud synching system. it won't upload files you just drop in there, they have to be created FROM the cloud.

go to the gear. options-uncheck "enable cloud synching for enabled games" or something.
there is also a config.ini somewhere that you need to change the values to to force uplay into offline mode. with those to problems solved you shouldn't ever have a uplay synching problem.

dear ubisoft- im not 12, i can manage my own saves. now please get lost and kick rocks.

although if anyone is having trouble finding their legit ACR data, i found mine in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[ubisoftaccountid]\40
