Quote:North Korea appears to have pushed one of its last friends into the arms of its enemy after US officials revealed that Washington and Beijing have achieved a "very strong degree of consensus" over the rogue state's nuclear ambitions.
Quote:Glyn Davies, the US special representative for North Korea policy, met with Chinese officials in Beijing on Friday as Pyongyang remained defiant over plans to conduct another nuclear test.
The envoy told reporters in Beijing that he had had wide-ranging discussions with Chinese officials on "all aspects of the North Korea issue" and they "achieved a very strong degree of consensus".
Both sides agreed that "a nuclear test would be troubling and a setback to the efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula", he said.

Over time, China has been a long time friend of North Korea, and this, arguably, is one of the largest reasons the United States has not declared war on North Korea through its' threats.
But now, China is in agreement with the U.S. and are going to help each other put an end to North Korea's law breaking actions.
How will this end? Will war be declared? Will North Korea give into the sanctions?
