If you think you cannot be loyal to your girlfriend and might end up cheating with your bestfriend, it's better to just be honest and end your relationship with your girlfriend. It will be fair to both of you if you do that. There's no point hurting two people at the same time.

However, do not expect too much with your bestfriend. You might be in love with her but that does not guarantee that she feels the same way for you.
