QUICK TIP! : If your headphones don't seem to be working play music with them plugged in and pull them out and back in again very quickly while the music is playing. Press play again and you will see an immense difference.

Before you ROM your phone download Titanium Backup from the Android market and bakup all your apps to your SD card so you can load them all onto your new ROM afterwards.

Nice! Great compilation for starters.
One thing though; Applanet went the same way MegaUpload did.

Is there any chance of "bricking" your phone when installing new roms etc? I've been tempted to root my HTC Thunderbolt but I have just been wary. Lol

RE: The Ultimate Android Tutorial #4
I've never heard of anyone bricking their phone but be sure to keep a backup of the stock ROM in case things go wrong.

RE: The Ultimate Android Tutorial #5
I might not though, doesn't look too simple :3

Well try z4root first. If that doesn't work it will be a bit more complicated. With z4root you only have to press this big button that says root and either it works or it doesn't work and your phone won't get bricked.
z4root worked for me Smile
