It's DOS, because one computer is sending deauthentication packets, and not more then one.

I remember learning this old trick while capturing IVs for WEP. Still a great/effective method.

Forgot to ask... can you deauth everyone except you? People on this wifi like to hog bandwidth when I'm working.

Yeah you can, but you would need to target MAC address of all those connected to that hotspot hotspot except you.
Also there is an android app called Wi-Fi Kill which can help you achieve that, but in this app case you need to be connected to hotspot.
