I think Veracrypt is the better option now.

Nice contrib. I've heard a fair bit about nettools, but I haven't used it. Sounds useful, so I'll be waiting for your further tutorials.

Well there might be someone who doesn't want to encrypt their entire USB stick. I'm not saying this is the best method for hiding messages, but I do say it IS a method to hide secret data, after all knowledge = knowledge how simplistic it might be.
