* I Don't Take Responsibility Anything That Happens To Your Device *
Why Change Your IMEI?
There are literally hundreds of reasons. Keep reading and you'll find out why.
Many people do it to:
~ Appear As Another Device
~ Get Pass A Phone Lock ( called in stolen or lost )
~ Get Pass FRP
~ Getting Rid Of Evidence
& Many More
What Is Your IMEI?
The International Mobile Equipment Identity — or IMEI — is a unique numerical identifier for every mobile device. This number helps to differentiate each device from one another. If you take your phone in for repair they will track it using the IMEI to differentiate it from the others that have gotten repairs.
In Other Words:
You change your IMEI, your device will literally be another phone. Your IMEI is the one thing that is unique, no matter which device it is. Even if you had 5,000,000 OnePlus 6's, all of them would have a different IMEI.
This is also why it's ILLEGAL to change it.
( Although I don't think anyone reading this even cares, hell, that's probably why your reading this, lol )
How Do You Find Your IMEI?
There Are 4 Ways:
1) Androids Only, You can check your IMEI by going to your Phone App ( Dialer ) and type " *#06# " without spaces or quotes
2) Depending on the Android device, it may be different, but generally, heading to Settings > About Phone > Status should display the IMEI.
3) The retail packaging will have a label with the IMEI. It's required by law, to be on all sold retail packages
( It's one of those really long numbers )
4) If your device has a removable battery, then the IMEI is often listed underneath the battery. Many devices have the IMEI printed on the back.
( This is one of the reasons why Apple makes it so hard to get the back off )
_|Requirements|_
~ Xposed Installed
~ IMEI Changer Xposed Module
( I use this one { https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/...r-t2847187 } )
~ The Phone Must Be Rooted { Real Root Only [ Magisk or SuperSU ] }
The IMEI HAS to:
~ Come From The Same Type Of Phone
( S9, Moto Z, LG G2, G Pixel, Etc )
~ Come From The Same Model
( In System Info, based on software )
~ Come From The Same Carrier ( if not unlocked )
~ The Original Phone ( with the IMEI) must not be in use, or else both phones will locked up, and you won't be able to do anything on either devices.
~ Same Country Version ( US, UK, International, Etc )
Tutorial:
1) Open IMEI Changer
2) Type In Your New IMEI
3) Click Apply
4) Reboot Your Device
( To improve success rate, clear system cache before reboot )
If done correctly, your phone will boot back up, and run the same.
I change IMEI numbers all time ( Before I sell stolen phones )
A good place to get them is on Ebay. People will sell their broken phone, has parts, for like $5. You just need the battery.
Hope you all enjoy!
